Day 1 < LD >
Meet in Houixay ( Lao border town in Bokeo across Mekong river with Thailand's Chiang Khong ). Slow boat to Pakbeng along Mekong river. Lunch at Paktha on the way. Dinner and overnight in Pakbeng Guesthouse.

Day 2 < BLD >
Breakfast and drive to Muang Say ( the provincial capital of Oudomsay, about 140 km ). On the way visit Ban Vieng Thong ( Kmu Village ), Ban Donekeo ( Lu Village ) and Ban Samkang ( Thai Dam village ). Lunch at Muang Hun. Arrive Muang Say late afternoon and overnight.

Day 3 < BLD >
Early morning visit the market and observe the different ethnic people. Breakfast and drive to Muang Khoa ( a town in southern Phongsaly province ). On the way visit Muang La ( a town in northern Oudomsay province ). Lunch on the way. Arrive Muang Khoa late afternoon. Walk along the river and the villages. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 < BLD >
Breakfast and travel by boat on Soung Ou River to Ban Hatsa. Continue by car to Phongsaly. Dinner and overnight in guesthouse.

Day 5 < BLD >
After breakfast whole day excursion to Ban Boun Neua and Lao-China border. Along the way visit ethnic villages of Hmong, Lu, Iko, Yo, etc. Lunch on the way. Come back to Phongsaly for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 < BLD >
Breakfast and return to Muang Koha. Overnight in Muang Koha.

Day 7 < BLD >
After breakfast travel by boat to Luang Prabang on Soung Ou and Mekong rivers. Lunch at Muang Ngoy. Continue and visit Pak Ou caves. Dinner and overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 8 < BLD >
Breakfast and visit Museum, Mt. Phou Si and its Temple, Vat Xiengthong, Vat May. Afternoon visit Vat Visoun, etc. and weaving village Ban Phanom. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 9 < BLD >
Breakfast and free at leisure till transfer to the airport. Fly to Vientiane. Transfer to hotel and overnight.

Day 10 < BLD >
Breakfast and city tour: Vat Prakeo, Vat Sisakhet, That Luang, Anousavari. Lunch and visit Buddha Park. Dinner and overnight in Vientiane.

Day 11 < B >
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for departure flight , or transfer to Thai-Lao border bridge.
